Charity Had Her Babies
Five months ago our Nubian bucks got in with the does. I didn’t want the girls to be breed at that time. Also our Nubian and Boer does were all in together. Charity is a Boer doe. And yes, Charity was bred. So Charity’s babies are uh-oh babies. For about a week before the babies arrived she keep me up all night. She would moan and it pulled on my heart strings.
Saturday November 21, Charity was in labor. Finely! This is Charity’s firs delivery. She didn’t handle the pain to well. When it came time for her to push when delivering the first baby she just gave up. I had to help her. Finely the first baby was here. It’s a girl!!
Codi our niece was spending the weekend with us. She was so excited to get to help with the delivery. As soon as the little girl was out I handed her to Codi to clean up. She used a towel to dry the little doe off. While she was working with the baby she kept her close to Mom so she could help clean her baby. About 10 minutes went by and the second baby was born…It’s a boy!!! Both of them are doing good and nursed. Charity is being a good mom. 🙂 Of course Charity waits to have her babies on the day a cold front comes in 🙂
Codi was all smiles and so excited she was here to help with the delivery.
After getting to see the babies they definitely Uno’s.
It’s such a blessing to see the healthy babies being born.
Hope you have a nice day!
I’m here for you!
