New Herd Buck
Now that all our younger does are getting old enough to breed we have a little problem. Problem being that our Herd buck that we have now “Tailspin Farms Ranger” is ken to some of our does. So we need to figure out what we are going to do about this problem.
I started looking for a near by Nubian breeder that offeres buck service or to see what bucks they have for sale. The harder I looked for someone that offered buck service the harder it was to find someone. 🙁 I was starting to get very disappointed.
I kept praying that I would find someone. Well, I could not sleep Monday night and starting looking for a breeder around our area. One of the farm groups that I’m a member of on Facebook just happen to have a new post about registrable Nubian bucks. I contacted them to find out some more information.
The lady that posted the ad is Pam Santana and her farm is Ladona Farm’s. She was able to give me the 6 buckling’s lineage. I was able to check our does lineage to the buckling’s. And guess what? The buckling’s are a perfect match. 🙂 🙂
I went up to Ladona Farm’s in Bulverde Texas. I enjoyed the drive. After meeting Pam I felt like I have known her forever. She is one of the nicest lady’s that I have met in a very long time. I highly recommend if you are in the market for a good Nubian goat to look Pam up. She is very knowledgeable on goats.
Out of the 6 buckling’s I picked out Ladona Jasper. He is the sweetest lil guy.
A very Big Thank You to Pam for our new Herd Buck.
Hope you have a Blessed day!
I’m here for you!
