San Antonio Stockshow and Rodeo
February 11-12, 2016 we are showing our Boer Goats. Codi is showing Abby in the Youth Doe. I am showing Gerg in Open Buck.
The night before we packed the truck and trailer. Hopefully we have everything. We were up at 4 a.m. Did all the morning chores. All the critters thought we were crazy for getting them up so early.
Well, as my luck would have it Gerg hurt himself, and is 3 legged this morning. So he doesn’t get to go. I think he planned this. Such a boy….
Well off we go to San Antonio. A quick stop at What-A-Burger for breakfast. Have to keep our tummy’s happy. We made it to Gembler Road for check in. This is where we set and waited and waited… LOL!
We made it to the show grounds around noon. We got our stalls and unload. Abby is doing good so far.
She acts like an old pro…
We hung out all day and walk around the grounds. We don’t show until tomorrow. Family and friends came to support us. Thank yall so much!!!
Went home for the night. We needed to take care of all the other animals.
Up early again, repeat of morning before.
Codi showed that afternoon. Her and Abby did good together. Codi was very focused and Abby was paying attention. Codi placed 6th out of 21. Not bad for our first major show. Very proud of our two girls. Not bad for a country goat and girl. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Codi all your hard work paid off 🙂 🙂
A Big Thank You To Jay Korus For All Your Help!!!! We would of not made it this far without you. Again Thank You Jay!!
Hope you have a nice day!
I’m here for you!
